Kyoto Oval Pedestal Dining Table in Walnut 240 cm

The Kyoto dining table rests on a single sculptural pedestal that narrows at the waist and flares out towards both the top and an oval foot. With no legs at the ends, the whole perimeter stays free, so chairs fit comfortably all the way round. The 240 cm oval top is finished in walnut veneer, laid in opposite directions to create a grain pattern that meets at the centre. Its bevelled underside edge makes it look slimmer than it is. The pedestal and top share the same walnut veneer, so the piece reads as a single block of wood.
